On the night of 1 November, 2006, Saturn will enter the sign of Leo. Ketu will also be in Leo, and Rahu in Aquarius. This will give rise to Kaal-Sarp Yog, since all other planets are already on one side of this Rahu-Ketu axis. This Kall-Sarp Yog will again prove tumultuous for politics. The Haryana government, especially, is likely to change.
At the start of the Kaal-Sarp Yog, the ascendant will be Gemini. Saturn will enter Leo—the sign ruled by its father—where Ketu (which is considered Saturn’s disciple, is already present). Sun will be debilitated in the sign of Libra, where Mars and Venus will also be present. Jupiter and Mercury will be in Scorpio, and Moon in Aquarius. As soon as Saturn enters Leo, the planets Rahu and Ketu will start working on his behest. These three planets will line up in a straight line. The presence of Saturn with Ketu will likely make the Kaal-Sarp Yog inauspicious
Saturn in Leo (the sign of Sun) will aspect Sun in Libra. Rahu will cast a helpful aspect on its guru—Saturn, and an unfavourable aspect on its enemy—Sun. Thus, Sun will not only be debilitated in Libra but will also receive an unfavourable drishti from Saturn and Rahu. Government and politics is related to the planet Sun. With Sun being attacked on three counts, politics can be expected to be unstable. This configuration will end on 10 January, 2007. During this period, however, those politicians with Leo ascendant must be extremely careful to avoid career losses. Some of the other issues that might face the brunt of this planetary configuration are: International relations; violence (or riots); fire-related accidents.
